Welcome Campers!
Young or old, new or experienced- let's have some fun! It's getting hot here in the summer but we can stay cool in the woods. Especially next to the creek! Take a seat around the campfire and let's get to know each other a bit more. I'll be your host for the next month!

- Bug
All faunids from this event will be recolored on a selection of event-exclusive bases.
A majority of this event will be hosted on Faunids.com !
You do not need to own the faunid you use, but you must have permission.
All creatives made during this event must be made by the submitter. Collaborations are allowed but only count toward a single user- not all collaborators.
You cannot send Pebbles (Event exclusive currency) to other users.
Summer Camp lasts one whole month- and in that month you will be able to enter 5 prompts/activities with a faunid.
With each prompt submission, you will receive Pebbles, a currency exclusive to this event.

Welcome Camper! In order to participate in our camp, I need to get to know you! So fill out an application and let's get started!
APPLICATION PSD
Please download the above PSD and depict your character on one of the two backgrounds!
Your character must be identifiable.
If writing, please write at least 750 words.
You are allowed to include multiple characters, including Bug!
I was making some crafts for everyone but they seem to have gotten lost.... Luckily I marked down what they looked like before I lost them!
Multiple users can find the same item, but the first people to find an item will get extra Pebbles (it may take Bug a few days to get those to you).
If the community can find all of them then something may happen!
Do not post answers in the faunids discord.

It's time to go fishing! This is a skill that isn't really found here in Veritam- but it's still important!
There are hundreds if not thousands of fish out there and all of them want what you have.
Depict your faunid interacting with fish!
This fish must include at least one fish with your faunid.
You must draw at least 50% of your faunid.
You must have a background.
If writing, you need to write at least 1,000 words.
Other faunids may be included but an entry is only viable for one applicant.
You may depict canonical Atalavian fish, real life fish, or non-canonical fish.

Here's some bug nets- go get me some bug specimens!
We've got some awesome local fauna as well as some escapees from my collection.
If we get enough specimens, maybe some of my colleagues will come check out our collection too!
Color in an insect of your choice!
Stay inside the lines as best you can.
You can color the lines!
You can print out the linearts and color them traditionally if desired.
At the end of the event, all participants will be entered into a raffle to have their bugs turned into fauns!
Users can also buy an item in the store to guarantee their bugs be turned into fauns.
This prompt opens on July 22nd.
When you color in a bug, you can have that bug turned into a semi-make-your-own faunid!
Either enter the below linked raffle to try out for a free bug-to-faun token OR simply buy the token in the Summer Camp Store.
Tokens only allow you option to turn your bug into a semi-MYO, you still have to pay the artist(s) for their hard work.
Cost: $40
Semi-MYOs will be released AFTER the event.
Users will be able to pick ONE (standard) desired trait, your artist will/may add more.
Any trait modifiers, removers, applicators, etc cannot be applied to your Semi-MYO until AFTER it is delivered.
Upon use, a staff member will put the bug into your character inventory and the resulting faunid will be revealed upon completion.

Let's go write a letter to your family and tell them everything you've seen and done!
I'll make sure this gets to your recipient as soon as possible.

Write/draw onto the latter as if you are your faunid.

This prompt opens on July 29th.
"Do I have to use the same faun for each entry?"
No you don't have to, but it is highly encouraged.
"Can I submit multiple entries?"
You can create multiple entries per prompt but only one prompt entry will count towards currency collection.
"Does currency rollover?"
If you do not spend all of your currency in the month, it will roll over to the next year!
"When can I spend my pebbles?"
You can spend your pebbles at any point in the event!
"Can I do my entries traditionally?"
Yes you can! Some prompts require specific lines and backgrounds, so you will need to find a way to incorporate these requirements in your traditional entry.
